By using Bibbly ("the service"), you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the service.

What Bibbly is

Bibbly is a baby name recommendation tool that learns your preferences through pairwise name comparisons. It helps you and your partner narrow down name choices. It is not medical advice, legal advice, or a substitute for your own judgment.

Your account

• You need a valid email address to create an account.
• You are responsible for access to your email - that's how authentication works (magic links).
• One account per person. Don't share your login links.

Acceptable use

Use Bibbly for its intended purpose: picking baby names. Don't:

• Automate access or scrape data.
• Attempt to access other users' data.
• Use the service to harass or harm others.
• Reverse-engineer the recommendation system.

Your data

You own your data. See our Privacy Policy for full details. In short: we don't sell it, we don't share it, and you can delete it anytime.

Payments and refunds

• The free tier is free forever - unlimited comparisons and a personal top 10.
• Premium is a one-time purchase of $19.99 (no subscription, no recurring charges).
• If you're unhappy with premium, email support@bibbly.ai within 30 days for a full refund.

Availability

We aim to keep Bibbly available 24/7 but don't guarantee uptime. We may take the service down for maintenance. Your vote history and preferences are persisted and will be there when we're back.

Intellectual property

The Bibbly name, logo, and recommendation system are our intellectual property. The baby names themselves are not - they're names, not copyrightable content.

Email communications

• Transactional emails (login links, account notifications) are sent as needed to operate the service.
• Marketing emails (launch announcements) are only sent if you explicitly opted in via the waitlist form. You can unsubscribe from these at any time via the link in the email.

Limitation of liability

Bibbly is provided "as is." We are not liable for any damages arising from your use of the service. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us (if any). We make no warranty that the name Bibbly recommends will be the perfect name - that's your call.

Changes to terms

We may update these terms. If we make meaningful changes, we'll notify you by email at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use after that constitutes acceptance.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina, USA.
